Day 27 - The Poet
The three haiku's I said in the intro:
Haikus are easyBut sometimes they don’t make sense
Refrigerator
Take me down to Hai-
ku City Where the grass is
green, and the dammit.
Hopelessness takes me
Demons in my head screaming
Falling in despair
Learn how to write a Haiku by reading this article:
http://grammar.yourdictionary.com/style-and-usage/rules-for-writing-haiku.html
I found that you have to get over the initial feeling that this is strange and simple with Haikus. So do stick at it and see how this challenge can be fun.
Once you have learnt how to write a Haiku I want you to search 'haiku' + your favourite topic on Google and read through examples other people have written.
You can also read through the examples on http://www.haikuvillage.com.
Now to get active I want you to write:
1) a Haiku about the weather today
2) a Haiku about the last meal you ate
3) a Haiku about your favourite colour
4) a Haiku about an animal
Publish them all on the HaikuVillage website.
Continue progressing to fluency with active learning!
